Six years across the DevOps org through Shopify’s (2019) and Ocado’s (2023) acquisitions — joining as Senior DevOps Engineer, then promoted to DevOps Lead (2021) and Staff DevOps Engineer (2023). Owned cloud-native infrastructure for a multi-tenant warehouse-robotics platform on GKE: deployment tooling, multi-tenant ETL at scale, SSO/auth, observability, and 24/7 on-call — while leading teams of 7–12.
The foundation: QA engineering and web development that became the on-ramp to DevOps. Testing 6 River Systems’ robotics platform was my first hands-on exposure to the container and orchestration stack I would later specialize in.
